 Event 2 : Peace Building in Redbridge Workshop
 Time : 6.00-9.00pm

 Ilford Community Centre, Eton Rd, Ilford, IG1 2UE 
Travel Info: Nearest stations: Ilford BR Station; Barking Underground Station –12minutes walk
Buses 369, 169 and 179 regularly go down Ilford Lane. Eton Road is five minutes walk from Ilford
Lane, down Mortlake Rd. The centre is close to the junction of Eton Rd with Woodlands Road. There is limited parking available at the Centre and in surrounding streets.

 A workshop on how we can build peace where we live through taking account of the global issues that make for conflict. To include the film “The Imam and the Pastor”. Refreshments provided. Facilitated by and ‘Conflict and Change’

 Event 3 : Planting for Peace

Details :  
Volunteer, share the food we have grown and enjoy live music at this charity garden. Find out about gardening, bee keeping, woodcarving, medicine making, mentoring and more.

The garden exists because of the energy of our volunteers. Some were forced to flee war and persecution, some have suffered traumatic experiences, mental health problems or have learning difficulties, and many are families wanting to learn about growing food and living sustainable. In this peaceful space all have an opportunity to help build a thriving community garden and find peace within themselves.

Come in old clothes for gardening, all ages welcome come rain or shine.

 Event 4 : Peace Mural - Spray Art

 The launch of a public Spray Art project in which local young people have expressed their hopes, concerns and opinions about peace and community safety in their area. Organised by the Redbridge Youth Service.

 Event 5 : Free 5-a-side Football Tournament
 Time : 12.00-5.00pm

Details :  
 A free day of 5-a-side football with refreshments, food and live music. Enter a team of boys or girls in the under 16s or under 19s tournaments and shoot for glory, or just come along to watch. Minimum age 13.
