![]() Your involvement in the London Week of Peace is not limited to taking part in the central events. With the vision of involving all Londoners in a celebration of diversity, community planned events are vital to the ethos of the London Week of Peace.
You can choose to organise anything you feel has meaning to you, but at the same time attracts and encourages participation from various groups and cultures. Running an event or activity that reaches out to all parts of the community, and perhaps links up with other events throughout the week, will increase the success and effectiveness of getting across the message of the London Week of Peace, and underline the theme of Reconciliation, Collaboration and Celebration.
Although the main initiative runs from 20th – 27th September2009, it is possible to hold events throughout September, the month of peace. Don’t forget to register your event online If you have any queries please send an email to info@weekofpeace.org.uk
